Hearing Professionals

Tim Fick

Tim was born and raised in the St. Louis area. He is married to his wife of 23 years, Amy, and they have three boys. Around 7 years ago, Tim was introduced to the world of hearing health care. When he started in hearing health care, he worked as a technician performing clean and checks and repairs and eventually grew into managing two offices. In 2012, at the age of 43, Tim started college for the first time to pursue his degree in Hearing Instrument Science. On July 24, 2014, Tim was awarded his “Degree of Associate of Applied Science in Hearing Instrument Science”. (AAS-HIS)  Soon after graduation Tim took and passed the Missouri state boards and was granted the title of Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. In 2015, Tim passed the Illinois state boards and is also licensed and practicing in Illinois in addition to Missouri. In 2016, he reached the highest honor received with his degree after passing the NBC test, “Nationally Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist” giving him the title AAS-HIS, BC-HIS.

Tim finds working with his patients to be very rewarding and finds that having the opportunity to change a person’s life with the gift of hearing is a feeling that is indescribable. He started working for Heartland Hearing Centers, LLC in November of 2012 and has found that the care given to their patients is exceptional. He is very happy he found Heartland Hearing to further his career.

In his free time, Tim enjoys everything outdoors and on (or close to) water. He enjoys engaging in those activities with his family and friends.
